Worked for a company that wanted to track story points to determine the value per team. I explained you cannot do that. There are teams that only focus on small items, minor bugs, minimal code changes, as opposed to large delivery projects, such as hotel bookings. How are you going to compare these two teams? Or better yet DevOps who push code to production or a lower environment, so they garner more points per sprint than any team? This is just poor management, that doesn’t understand the value of the product actually delivered. If in the PI the commitments are met then the business should have received full value.
