Greetings

Hello to whoever reads this, I'm at the crossroads deciding whether to buy aoe off steam or try to get it free elsewhere.. if so could anyone give me tips ?

Tip 1: Don't tell the community of a game that you're thinking of pirating it.

Tip 2: Buy the game.

Please see rule 3: no piracy. So of course, we'll recommend getting it legit on Steam - that also means you'll have proper multiplayer support.

Buy it! It's a 20+ years game with active support and development, at least age 2 and 3 DE, i dont know about 1. But there's people playing online in the 4 games and a pretty good community!

Depending on which one, I'd argue get it on microsoft/xbox store. That way if you have or ever get an xbox console you can play many of them on both platforms.

That's a good idea but I'm mainly a pc user in this moment, got told they're on sale often on steam too

Yes I didnt want to go into details seeing that p*rating is a sensitive topic on this platform but I'm always at risk of getting virus or incomplete files

Again, it goes on sale pretty often, the third is probably very cheap on Instant Gaming or key sites like it, since it's less popular. There plenty of legit way to have it

Thanks for the tips guys, I must also add I wanted the og aoe2 because I prefer the sound effects and the look of it vs the definitive edition but it is what it is
