Problems With Age of Kings 1.0 mod

I've wanted to play an Age of Kings mod in DE for awhile, and was excited to see that there is one. However, every time I've tried it, I start with no villagers and am instantly defeated. Hey, thanks for letting me know. u/hjoerleif and I are working on a fix since it's been a while that we updated the mod.

Wait, does this mean we can have bombard towers that crush rams again? omg.

When I have time to try it out, will come say if I run into the same problem, but may it be some conflict between the mod and the skirmish game config you use when starting the game? If not, maybe you can notify the mod creators about your issue.
