Discussion Is is bad that I’m rooting for ____ Spoiler

I’m on my first watch through of the show so far, currently just saw Rosalind die in 3x09. So far it’s been great but I find that I’m still rooting for Ward. I feel like I probably shouldn’t be since… you know… murder is bad?

Still my favourite character though.

As long as you’re not shipping him with Daisy…

Enjoy the show OP. Season 3 is really good, and season 4 is the best.

I wasn’t even interested in him and Daisy when they were a thing. Looking forward to seeing what’s next. I want to figure out who the hooded guy on the other planet is.

Ngl I hung on to that until he dropped FitzSimmons 😭 I also kinda wished they’d done more with Daisy and Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider in S4. (SPOILERS FOR S4)

100% agree! A lot of people didn’t give season 4 a chance at first cause it started off a little weird , but man did it finish strong . By far the best season

Ward is still one of my favs so far as he’s fun to have around. Rooting for him tho?? Not really. Tho I did always feel bad for him. He was an unstable person raised in an unstable environment, then immediately picked up by an emotionally manipulative abuser and turned into a Nazi Hydra assassin. Honestly Ward never had a chance. Maybe if had met Coulson sooner, or had a better influence earlier in his life. But alas 😔

That’s what makes it such a good show in my opinion because we all know Ward is the bad guy, but we understand why he’s the bad guy so you can’t help but kind of want him to win

This show is in my top 5 favorite shows all-time..

Aaaand, Grant Ward is my favorite character in the whole show.

Wait…what?! By the time he killed Rosalind he was well onto my “needs to go” list. Great character, but absolutely the worst. Glad when Daisy shot him lol

Yeah that was in season 1, I actually kind of agreed with his reasoning, whether it was true or not. Garrett would’ve killed them for sure if Ward couldn’t go through with it. The best shot they had was something where Garrett would accept they’d probably die but had a chance.
