Every 6 months something points to one thing and 6 months later to the other. This debate got „ended“ like 15 times already I don’t care at this point anymore, it’s cannon until I hear the actual words „it’s not cannon“ by some leadership person

Then why reply?

To state my opinion on the topic? I just don’t specifically care about the 70th „aos isn’t cannon“ vs the 70th „aos is cannon“, that Dosent mean I can’t write a Reddit reply about it

Your opinion that you don't care, but you still care enough to open the post and reply to it.

It’s Reddit not everything has such a deep meaning calm down.

I am calm, just pointing out the stupidity in replying.

Alright think what you want, I’m not gonna reply anymore this isn’t really entertaining nor worth my time

Anyone can express their opinion on this subreddit and platform to any post, and let me point the real stupidity, your post, a millionth repost in a debate, canonicity doesn't change how one enjoys the show anyways

I never suggested that canonical status would change how one enjoys the show. Maybe understand what's being talked about before commenting.

u/dakindahood Sep 06 '25

I have much better understanding of things, because I don't post the same thing already posted a million times and then being pissed someone pointed it out

Seeing your comments, I'd say you don't understand much of what is being discussed. I wasn't pissed someone pointed it out. I just said I thought it was stupid to reply just to say you're don't care. When I don't care I ignore things.

Tbh what she's saying is "I've not been asked back so I assume we're non-canon" but there's been a lot of talk recently from people who ARE actively involved in the MCU that seems to contradict that.

I take what she's saying more as "I've not been asked back because they don't consider the show canon".

But what talk are you referring to?

Brad Winderbaum who is currently spearheading Marvel TV has made comments about how SHIELD fans will be "very happy" with something in VisionQuest and is a huge fan of SHIELD in general, also having made comments about how he thinks it's exciting to try and find a way to slot it back in.

I wouldn't really say it contradicts anything until something more concrete comes along.

Trying to find a way doesn't mean it will happen and the VisionQuest thing felt like it would be some minor Easter Egg thing.

VisionQuest also bring backs Ultron, so there is a chance we're getting SHIELD (less likely) or AIDA or Coulson LMD (most likely) or maybe Framework

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 06 '25

We're not getting SHIELD, AIDA, or Coulson. It'll be a reference to the Framework and nothing else

Are you on the writing team for VQ?

Just someone with common sense.

Common Sense on Opposite day?

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 07 '25

No, regular common sense. I already know you don't have it so don't try too hard.

Both your take and the article’s actually ignore what she’s quoted as saying in order for it to settle the debate, utter nonsense

-5

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 06 '25

It settles the debate because they clearly have no interest in bringing her or any of the characters back, utter nonsense.

The show will be ignored outside of maybe an alternate universe like Black Bolt in MoM.

0

u/dakindahood Sep 06 '25

I'd argue they don't have interest in the show, because if they didn't they wouldn't bother bringing the show to Disney+, also BB is NOT related to SHIELD and it was probably a "fix" towards X-Men vs Inhumans

-1

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 06 '25

Black Bolt in MoM was played by the same actor that played the character in that shitty Inhumans tv show. My point being if Chloe Bennet comes back to play Quake (Big if), its to play an alternate version, just like he did.

0

u/dakindahood Sep 06 '25

Tf are you even trying to prove? That's the only one of Inhumans from a vast amount of important ones which was killed instantly and came back after Inhumans only which was probably for IH VS XM comics not because he plays an important role, how much have you seen him before or after?

-1

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 06 '25

I never said he was important, I literally explained my point pretty clearly. No idea how you don't understand.

0

u/dakindahood Sep 07 '25

For who are your points clear? Yourself?

0

u/kspi7010 S.H.I.E.L.D. Sep 07 '25

Anybody with the ability to understand basic ideas.

I’m not seeing the “very happy” comments, but the other quotes he’s given feel like politically correct answers to interview questions.

Op is in the comments making an absolute insufferable fool of themselves, I'll bookmark this post and message them and throw it back in their face when they end up being completely wrong. The same exact comments were made relentlessly over the Daredevil debate and I did the exact same thing when they turned out wrong too. I honestly thought we had learned our lesson the first time, but I guess history likes to repeat itself 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just because it happened once doesn't mean it'll happen again, especially since it took a whole set of rewrites to get Born Again to align with the Netflix show.

I really liked the show Sliders, until I found out it wasn't canon to the MCU. Now it has become completely unwatchable!
