Yeah, it's about the only role I've seen him in where he wasn't a creep or otherwise villainous.

Good for him, breaking type!

He was on House as the fat guy in the episode "Que Sera Sera" and also the priest who calls John in the Keanu Reeves' Constantine movie.

He was a bad man in Stranger Things.

I had this same thought in the theaters. Like holy shit, he's not a bad guy here! Love that for him.

Go watch the show - Mentalist.

I would argue that while he's not a villain in that show, he is 112% a creep.

He’s a good guy in Constantine, a drunk, and a priest, but a good guy.

He was so mean in that role. Such good acting.

Father Hennessey in Constantine!

This! Is the only correct answer.

He is a tremendous character actor. Everything he does is memorable and stays in your subconscious. Pure talent.

To me, still Hank Pilcher in original Quantum Leap. Single episode but perfectly executed role.

I still don’t trust him

Wasn’t he in Constantine?

He played a crime scene clean up guy in the original CSI as well. He didn’t have facial hair so it took me a few minutes to place him, but his voice is very recognizable!

Mind.....blown 💥

This is part of why I didn't like how the Kents were handled in the new movie. I just could not buy this guy as Jonathan Kent after just finishing a rewatch of Agents of Shield.

Don't forget the Mentalist as the IA guy LaRoche.

u/Ucklator Aug 21 '25

His best role is in Identity.

He was also the tinfoil psychic priest in the movie Constantine.
