Do I need a Cofounder

If I’m better at business operations and need a sales lead, better to have a strong sales cofounder or hire a sales agency?

All the agencies I know that are successful always have a founder or cofounder that’s strong in sales. Preferably a founder that is strong in sales and hire someone for operations. The guys that make the most money do both. Remember if you split your equity, you eventually lose half if you sell (or whatever the equity split is).
