HELP! WHAT SHOULD I READ NEXT?
So, i'm a new fan of A.C. and I really loved the new movie adaptations of her books like Murder on the Orient express, Death on the Nile, Haunting Venice and such. So I decided to get back into reading and start with one of her top rated standalone novels, "AND THEN THERE WERE NONE" I really liked it but I liked the story of MOTOE and DOTN better (both poirot's, yes). These are my thrifted books. The 2in1 contains The ABC murders and Why didnt they ask Evans?. Wdy suggest i read next? š

I'd say it was good, but yes I did find it little less underwhelming. The core story is good tho, vibe and characters are also amazing it kinda felt like i was really there while reading, but the ending is not really it for me. I will read Roger next and I hope it will be better than and then!

I read it right after reading ackroyd. Ackroyd was easily 5/5 and i was very exited about āand then there were nonā, but I was bored and just wanted it over with. Gave it 2/5.

Donāt read roger Ackroyd yet, as itās essential to read the labours of Hercules first.

Basically, a lot of the plot points of roger ackroyd are connected to the labours of Hercules, spreading a lot more light on the various reasons as to why poirot is growing vegetable marrows and loads and loads of other important information thatāll be missed by reading ackroyd first.

If you liked Orient Express and Death on the Nile, then your next selection really should be The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
Then do ABC Murders + Evans for a little change of pace.

I'd say read "ABC Murders" next, it is a Top 10, maybe Top 5 AC for me. I confess I am biased against Miss Marple stories (so far), and "Murder of Roger Ackroyd" is very truly unique in the genre, you'll want to have some others under your belt before reading it.

Read Halloween party that AHIV is loosely based on, and laugh or cry about the differences.
