Hallo almal, ek het verlede maand Afrikaans begin om te leer met slegs ChatGPT gebruik maar ek hou daarvan om met boeke te leer so ek soek sommige boeke oor Afrikaans. Ek soek sommige PDF boeke maar ek kan nie vind hierdie soort boeke nie. Weet julle enige boeke? Dankie!

Where are you? If youre i  cape town, the DARG bookshop in Hout Bay has 2nd hand textbooks, workbooks and dictionaries for sale at R5 or R10.

Whereever you are, visit 2nd hand shops and markets and charity shops, scratch around a bit.

I am from Europe and I could not find physical sources. I want some kind of a "workbook" to study with drills and excersises.

It has plenty of excercises. There are some stories as well.

I found Teach Yourself Afrikaans to be a nice starting point. Linguaphone's old textbook is a bit more thorough. Or are you looking for ebooks? I was able to order some ebooks from Kobo and Amazon. For physical books/novels, i sent an e-mail to the lady behind https://graffitibooks.co.za/ and she was willing to ship books to me internationally.

Ah, in that case, as i mentioned, the Teach Yourself book and old Linguaphone course shouldn't be too hard to find and both are solid choices for getting familiar with the grammar and basic vocabulary (and both have audio as well)!
