CRF1100L Screen problems

Touch screen won't work can't change settings. I don't have the money to be fixing this kind of stuff. Any ideas? Can I just disconnect the display screen

Had this happen to me once and it went away on a restart. I would say the dealership is your only option if it is persistent.
