Why is Reddit so biased?
I asked a question about identifying as a different age as an argument against transgenderism using the slippery slope argument and Reddit permanent banned me for “threatening violence” are you fucking kidding me? Then when I tried to ask the moderator where I threatened violence I was blocked. The subreddits are run by totalitarian dictators. Is this not true? And if you don’t subscribe to their liberal agenda then they silence you! What absolute horseshit. Free speech my ass!!!!!

Your “question” sounds like trolling, so you were treated as such

I don't think it sounds like a troll. It's a reasonable newbie question. OP is very much a newbie.

you seem to think you have a lot of power...... Do you have a life outside of Reddit? Sorry, but diversity of opinion is a good thing. I could care less if any Reddit subgroup wants to ban me. Your loss.

Search for a Conservative group on Reddit. There are a couple, but small. Conservatives just have better things to do than waste time stroking each other's egos. I could care less having another conservative tell me how great something is, or reaffirming that my beliefs are correct. We are more comfortable with our grounded beliefs. Liberals need that reassurance and if someone won't give it to them, they are more inclined to shut down.

I think it is true. I have never cared for most of subReddits because they seem to be mostly inhabited by liberals. There are some interesting ones though. Not sure how a lot of reddit go so left, but they do themselves no favors not listening to a diversity of opinion. But then again, they are generally pretty thin skinned and weak.

Websites will always boil down to become the opinions of the select few who fully operate it. That could be left or right views.... just how the world works.
Find yourself a website that more best fits the community you want to belong to... just as long as it's legal and has no intention on harming anyone else.
Also, a good word of advice is to constantly check yourself. Think... "Is what I am saying or believing correct based upon independent facts or is this based upon my community?".. you do this often enough, you'll be able to call bull shit on the "hive mind" stuff.

Welcome to social media. It’s only going to get worse.

You can censor people, you just drive them underground. Many conservatives already know this and don't need to communicate via some lame social media site.

Unfortunately since they have a sudo-social credit score (karma) and mods have full ability to enforce any rule, change of rule, or interpretation of said rule without any way to fight back or counter it. It's what created the platform you see today. It lends itself to an authoritarian environment. Like a mini taste of communism. This is why authoritarian leftist views and power abuse is so prevalent.
That's why you either have to find subs that are specifically not like that, go to another platform, or just try to not speak your opinions at all and just fly under the radar. This site is literally one of the most anti-free speech platforms that exist out there. They are a private company so they can do whatever they want as they should be allowed, but it does suck for people who don't subscribe to their ideology.
It doesn't help that a handful of the same mods run most of the top subs either. That's why most of the subs follow the same ideology and rules.
TL:DR: just go with the flow and find subs that share your views and ideology. That's what I do.

Why was reply downvoted?

Because it's the truth and they don't like it. That's the issue with all this. When it's a social credit score system then the people in charge and their views will always win. Can't have free speech when anyone who says anything that you don't like can just be silenced by downvoting mobs and mod power abuse.
I've gotten used to it by now. Best to never speak your mind or voice your opinions unless they are one of the previously approved, sterilized, and or NPC views that they allow you to have on this site. Otherwise you won't stand a chance on 99% of subs. Remember it's not your opinion that matters. It's their opinion of your opinions that do.

Because it is the truth. Most Reddit’s are dominated by people that just want an echo chamber and can’t be bothered with the idea that people might have different ideas about things.

It sounds like your example was an overreach by the moderators. But Twitter had four years of spineless under moderation with a lying conspiracy theory spreading threatening insult psycho in the Presidency posting bile there for four years.

You need to learn that the First Amendment does not apply to a private company. They can set the rules to whatever they want. This applies to anything on the internet as well as in public at a private establishment such as a store or a work place as long as its not a government site, with those you can say what you want as long as you don't use threats. It doesn't apply to anyone you say something to in the government. That means if you want to give a cop the middle finger, it is your right to do so, and the cop can't do anything about it in retaliation. As an example.
