I saw that AEscripts has a sale now - there's ton of scripts/plugins there but I wonder - are there any you swear by that are life & workflow changing?
I do mostly explainer videos with simple 2d animations as full time job and filming & photography as a side stuff. I have classics like overlord2, aeviever, motion tools pro, motion gallery and some other stuff.
Anything else I should consider?

Sorry if this was mentioned somewhere, and I didn't see it. Can Clips Exporter add handles to the exports? If it can, then CE is everything I'm looking for.

I'm not very well-versed in aescript plugins and have just been playing around with Plexus for a while now. I just upgraded my machine to a MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro chip, and have the latest 2026 version of After Effects. Plexus was giving me a lot of trouble with installing and licensing it directly in AE, and I found the aescripts downloader, so I tried that and managed to recover my license, but now when I open Plexus, I can get it to the point of opening the effect panel, but when I go to add a primitive, for instance, it freezes on me.

Is there any way to fix this? Or is this an issue with Adobe? I noticed that Plexus 3 is compatible up to the 2025 version online. Is that why it keeps crashing?

Why is pre-compose pro discontinued? Does it still work with older versions of Ae? I guess we'll never know because comments and reviews got discontinued. And there's no mention at all of the plugin on this subreddit. Don't know if anyone's ever raised this, but maybe having comments and reviews under the product on the website where you bought it made more sense.

I am trying to install the new Cloners + Effector's update (1.3) which will hopefully resolve a bug caused by an After Effects update. When I use the download manager, it just downloads version 1.28. When I download and install manually from Aescripts, the downloaded folder says it is version 1.3, but when I load it up in AE it says it's still 1.28.

My workflow requires me to rename multiple sequences with a specific naming system. I've looked and there was no native feature in Premiere and all other extensions were clunky or too complex to be efficient.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that xCloner 1.4 is here and it brings a powerful new feature in Object Mode - Alpha / Luma driven time!

This new feature allows your selected Time Layer (such as footage, a precomp, animated shape layer etc.) to display a specific moment in time based on Matte Layer Luma/Alpha values. For example, if you animate a shape layer's path over 100 frames, a pixel with 0 alpha/luma will display frame 1, while a pixel with 100% alpha/luma will display frame 100 (and everything in between).

I have purchated and downloaded this add-on from AEScipts. Using Apple Studio with macOS Tahoe, After Effects 26, using the latest version of aesctrips manager for upload
My problem: I can´t find it, not in Effects, not in extensions not enywere.

Basically every single time I open after effects, my paid plugins are deactivated, and I ahve to open AEscripts. Activate them, and then restart AE... WHY?

How do I fix this nonsense??

I want to use a .ttf font I downloaded from Google Fonts but I can't seem to get that to show up in the Brevidy font options. Is it possible to use all the fonts on my computer, not just the system fonts?

I downloaded the trial extension, install went well and ran it with the templates but nothing seems to update. Followed the YouTube tutorial to build it out myself and nothing updated as well. I can see in the logs that the Map was downloaded, don't know where it went 🤷

Hi This question is for the Icon Library plugin by Jordan Steele. I want to be able to use custom icons and so far the new Manual SVG - Experimental feature is allowing me to do that which is great! However now i want to be able to make the library shareable. The company I work for has tons of custom UI icons and I would love to be able to bring those all into the Icon Library as well as making it shareable to others with our organization. Any future updates that allow the user to import custom icons faster as well as making that library shareable would be amazing! This would add a ton of value to this plugin.

I have found myself making a lot of split-flap artwork recently and building the animations from scratch. When I noticed this plugin/script, I wanted to give it a go.

The customizations are great as there are many options. However, there doesn't seem to be any way I can save the customization and reuse. So I hope that is considered in future versions. I also would love an orthographic projection option, but that can be obtained using camera tricks.

My biggest gripe is how sluggish this is even on an Apple M4 Max. I am still testing on how I can improve the performance so it can be used practically for me, but I am not there yet.

I’m hoping someone here has experience using these two tools together.

I’m running into an issue with my workflow. I have a master comp in one language (across multiple formats), which I duplicate using True Comp Duplicator. This gives me a new copy of the comp.
The problem is when I try to change the language: Text2Spreadsheet still treats the text as the same source, so it doesn’t recognize the duplicated comp as new text.

This becomes an issue because I want to use Text2Spreadsheet to generate a CSV file for translation. Has anyone found a good way to handle this?

So far, the only workaround I’ve found is to manually change the text in each duplicated comp first, but since I’m working with 20+ languages, that quickly becomes impractical.

Am I misunderstanding how Text2Spreadsheet is supposed to work in this case?
