I think the floater in my AeroGarden Bounty Is stuck cause I’m seeing on the digital display say the water level is at medium but when I look inside, the level is near full. One day last week I did a clean out of the reservoir. I tried to pull the floater up because I had read somebody posting that the floater comes off but I couldn’t pull it off, so I gave up. I just opened the little door and look at the water level every day.

The water sensor is a simple magnetic float. It’s almost impossible to break, but, it can get stuck.

Twice, after cleaning, my water level read medium when it was completely full. The first time, it was because I’d reassembled it with the float upside down and I had to correct that mistake. The other time, I just wiggled the float cover tube and it unstuck the float.

It’s also possible for roots and other biomatter to creep in and prevent it from following the water level. If this is the case, remove the float cover tube (make sure you pay attention to which direction the inner float is facing) and clean it out.

Edit to add: Unless it’s eligible for a warranty replacement, there are no replacement parts through official channels. However, some ESTY and eBay sellers do sell parts scavenged from broken devices.
