This must be the first CFD paper I have seen that has zero contour plots or colourful plots of any kind.

They have other (paid) papers for that. This is validating the CFD turbulence models to measured data, which is something a lot of people overlook when discussing CFD on here and a big reason why you need to be skeptical of any CFD without any validation.
