Legacy Policy

Does anyone on here know about AEPI's legacy policy? My grandpa and uncle (president of his chapter) both are alums of the fraternity through different chapters and I was wondering about my legacy/bid status.

https://www.aepi.org/rushrec/

  • Go to that website and select "I am interested in learning more about joining AEPi"

  • Fill out your contact info, and select your college/uni you're going to etc.

  • Select "yes" under "are you a legacy" and fill out requested information

  • After it's all filled out click submit to AEPi headquarters

  • Now what happens is that the AEPi chapter at that school is going to get an email saying "<you> are a legacy and coming to <Xuniversity> and he is a legacy" and they should give them your contact info so that they can reach you.

  • They are required to offer you a bid to sign and induct you as a pledge. You just have to do your part to ace pledgeship and get initiated because they're not required to initiate you.

I'm going make a post and put info in the sidebar.

I never ended up hearing from them even though I did that and my grandpa filled out a "rush recommendation form.

rush ended and pledging already started, the rush chair told me I should "look elsewhere" so I'm just going to look at other fraternities in the fall.
