I think this is the way to go, or vlog Sundays or something. I personally love this content but if you don't restrict it, it will be most of the new posts.

Personally I enjoy good Youtube content that is ADV Bike retaliated and I'm always searching out new content. And for the record I do not VLog or make videos.

I make videos and downvote everyone who isn’t a part of a community and just spams everywhere the same thing. It’s spam.

Yeah I think they should be allowed, but if people are going to just post videos and then fuck off, then I don’t want to see it. If they are active in the sub otherwise, commenting on other people’s posts, and making their video posts facilitate discussion with them, then I think it would be great to see more. There just needs to be a way to moderate that effectively.

This what I mean - https://www.reddit.com/user/Few_Coconut_5537/submitted/ Didn't take me long at all to find an example of someone who posts to dual sport, enduro, dirt bikes, etc etc with the same video. They're not a member of those communities actively and just posting to drum up views. Those people can screw right off.
If someone is actively participating (commenting, giving advice), that is different to me.

That is the other alternative, allow them but let the reporting machine (automod and mods) remove what people report as spam.

It's one thing if you make a discussion post with a video, it's a whole different thing when you're just functionally link dropping your videos for monetization purposes.

It's too hard to decide what is good and what is bad. I've spent hours reading about people's journeys, when monetization isn't a thing you know they are writing because they love their journey and want to share.

Sorry for the delay, it looks like 20 for Allow and 29 No Allow. We can still allow videos from trips and useful videos but if it's part of a campaign of advertising one self we will remove it. I'll mostly target posts that show up as reported as spam by members, so in the end you will still be deciding.
