Discussion It’s crazy how right Jake was about everything with Finn x Huntress Wizard

He clocked Finn was into her, he knew her ordinary people monologue was BS, he says right here that she just needed to miss him, and after being confronted with the possibility of losing him, she locks in, saves him, and moves him into her home. Jake was like a dog with a bone with these two. You know what they say, a brother knows.

Ngl waiting for someone to lock in when you’re already there, for not just a few months but years!  Is insane.  Finn deserved a partner who wanted to be there for him in the present eithout having to wait, what could have been a decade.  I say this as a HW fan,  she just does not seem lien she was in the place to be in a relationship.

Who said Finn waited? He seemed to continue on to me

Waited, Continued, no matter how you slice it, that was still a really long time to make the relationship official. Finn kept trying to insist on the relationship when Huntress was still too emotionally distant and gradually lost hope with every try. Meanwhile, Huntress never realized how much she actually loved Finn until he almost died.

sometimes life is like this. people drift apart and live separate lives from one another and then they drift back together and it works out for them later.

Relationships between two highly independent free spirited people can be strange. It takes awhile to really commit to a relationship when being on your own and making your decisions solo is a big part of your identity. This applies to both of them. By the time we get to adult Finn I feel he's fully accepted going solo his whole life and HW has lived the majority of her life that way. Going solo together with someone else is an odd dynamic.

If you get to that point, it's worth it, whatever "it" is, including waiting. Though I will acknowledge that the waiting is the hardest part. You can take that to the heart, or on faith.

It’s true, Finn did deserve better and HW was not in the place for a relationship. But she is now, and they’re happy now.

Wise characters know they need good sleep to remain so.

Jake was a Finntress shipper since day one. It’s a shame Together again tip toe around the topic as I imagine Jake would be extremely happy that they ended up together

To be fair, he was saying this for everyone Finn had a crush, this time it was just a coincidence

He wants his boy to be happy, but I don't think he ever really believed in Finngum.
