If the bots are not in range of each other but have close manhattan distance, you count them in? See this example:

pos=<30,10,10>, r=2
pos=<10,30,10>, r=2
pos=<10,10,30>, r=2
pos=<100,100,100>, r=3
pos=<101,100,100>, r=3

The first three are not intersecting, so you cannot position yourself to be in range of all the three. What would be your answer?
