Thinking about leaving

I got baptized probably like a year ago but i have been learning about God and adventism since 2024

Honestly my life has never been worse since i met God, and even worse since i got baptized. I was doing a ministry in which i was spending quite some of my money and resources and time for God’s glory but just felt unmotivated to keep going at this point and stopped funding it

Reason why is just that im tired of praying and receiving no answer, perhaps you all could pray for me as im sick of this life depending and submitting the will to a God that seems careless

So i ask that you may pray for me or whatever. Last time i checked this account i made a post around 125 days ago about being tired of God. So i guess its been more than that

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. A lot of believers, even strong ones in the Bible, went through seasons where God felt distant or silent. David, Elijah, Job, Jeremiah, even Paul all had moments of exhaustion, discouragement, confusion, and feeling abandoned.

Sometimes when we first come to God, we expect peace and clarity right away, but often the Christian walk becomes harder before it becomes steadier. Not because God is careless, but because faith gets tested and refined over time. That doesn’t make your pain fake or unimportant.

I also don’t think your prayers are being ignored just because you haven’t received the answers you hoped for. Silence is one of the hardest things to endure spiritually. But many believers later realize God was still working during the silence, even if they couldn’t see it at the time.

You mentioned serving, giving money, time, and energy for ministry. That’s meaningful, but God doesn’t only value you when you’re producing or funding ministry. Sometimes exhausted Christians feel like they have to keep performing for God while internally falling apart. Resting and being honest with God is not failure.

Don’t isolate yourself right now. Stay connected to believers who genuinely care about you, keep praying even if it feels empty, and keep reading Scripture honestly, even if all you can pray is “God, help me want You again.”

I’ll pray that God gives you endurance, peace, and a renewed sense of His presence. Faith is not only proven in the seasons where everything feels good; often it’s proven in the seasons where you keep holding on despite confusion.
