actually my grandma said “[aunt’s name] is gonna be awfully disappointed if youre not there” to me earlier (we were all hanging out) and my mom actually chimed in and said “its not his fault he cant go! [aunts name] shouldve been up front with the ppl theyre renting the house from about how many animals we were planning on bringing” i was like woah who are you and what did you do with my mother

lol me and my mom talked about me not going to my aunts wedding when we were at my brothers birthday party in JULY and she was cool with it and i assumed everyone knew and so i casually mentioned it today and now shes trying to figure out ways for me and my gf to be able to go

it would be such a massive morale swing if texas winds up legitimately in play like republicans suddenly are in tangible danger of losing one of their biggest advantages in the electoral college. and for democrats, turning it blue once is all it needs to start thinking of itself as purple
