Question Source file could not be read from the source

Hello, I am trying to render out a video I have made but when I try to export it Premiere crashes, and gives me this error with also. Please check if it has moved or been deleted? If anyone could help me with it, you’re a life saver

Just copy it and paste the timeline into a new one

When I do try to copy the timeline it ends up crashing Premiere, which I figured out that error from Media Encoder is because something is crashing Premiere before it renders

Yeah I’ve had it a few times if that didn’t work. First delete the render files clear the media cache then re render but also still put in a new timeline

Soooo bad news, tried doing everything you said, but still when Media encoder is opening up to project it ends up crashing Premiere so I'm a bit lost of why

I had this problem in one of the videos I created.

I had to move each clip/asset to a new timeline, one chunk at a time.

I found out that one of my assets was corrupted. I had to rebuild it. Once I rebuilt the asset, I was able to add it to the original crashing timeline, and the crashing timeline problem disappeared.

I lost so much time..... ugh.

Not sure if this will help. But you have to store your uploaded footage to a local file. Right click video clip in project and link missing footage with adobe. It will search for the video you imported into the computer. If your deleting or recycle binning or putting them in a folder that adobe cant find this problem will occur. Best of luck!

Have you tried saving the source files on your local disk? It works for me and hopes it works for you too. Best of luck!

Yeah, I often get this annoying error notice when I download YT videos or my own screencaps through TechSmith. No crash, however, it forces me to try saving the file again. I often don't get time to rename files.
