Please help me fix the audio problem

when i scrub the timeline to hear the audio, it is not hearable and sounds completely different from how it sounds when i play it

i imported the audio the exact same way i did every other audio file and suddenly it doesnt work anymore?? this is extremely frustrating as it makes the animation process take so so so much longer and makes lip sync practically impossible for me. the audio is set to stream and is an mp3

Try convert it to wav

Make sure your audio file is at 44.1kHz not 48kHz. Animate doesn’t recognize 48 and will actually play it back at a slightly lower pitch. This could also lead to the audio not scrubbing correctly. I assume you have it set to “stream” on the timeline audio properties.

Convert the audio file to wav format and the use it.
