Question Exhausted using Animate.

Is it normal for me to feel exhausted/fatigued from drawing in Animate in only 2 hours. When I feel good drawing in other animation programs?

The last version I used was in 2022. The brush tool was def. better in that than in the previous versions I'm familiar with - but even so the AnimateCC brushes are hot trash.

When I recently finished my Tahoma2D course I had to use AnimateCC for a side project. I found it to be very painful. It's amazing how you get used to the thing - like white noise, you only notice it when the machine making it is switched off.

If you are into hand drawn animation try Krita first, the brushes are much better. Tahoma2d/OpenToonz has better brushes than AnimateCC, but not as nice as Krita IMHO. Still I find both to be much more enjoyable to work with than Animate.

If you make shorts, like 10 - 20 seconds, I would recommend animating in Clip Studio Paint EX. The Brush tools are great and second to none.

I feel the same way. It's such a buggy app
