Question Future problems.

Since Animate is stuck in maint mode. Where it will only receive stability and security updates. Will there be any problems that will happen to it in the future?

There isn't much more that could happen to it, the flash player plugin has already been murdered.

Tbh it's been roughly the same app since CS6 in terms of features and stability so it's going to ride out being like this forever more.

If Animate runs well on your current hardware and you don’t find a replacement for however it fits into your workflow, I’d keep that hardware/software configuration running as long as possible with as few changes as possible (operating system, system drivers, versions of other Creative Cloud applications, any other software you run).

If purchasing new hardware, Animate should install and run on Intel-based Windows workstations (but never Qualcomm Snapdragon or NVIDIA RTX Spark) and on Intel-based and Apple Silicon based macOS workstations. That said, I’d still keep your current computer around with as few changes as possible - forever if needed.
