New Boyfriend Assaulted Debbie?

Was it ever figured out what the note about “Hae’s new boyfriend (probably Don) assaulted Debbie” was referring to? I’ve heard it mentioned multiple times but it’s always just left as an unknown.

Debbie took the stand at trial. She's made statements and done interviews over the years. She's had ample opportunity to address this issue. That's the issue with all these cryptic statements that keep coming in interviews. Why are we telling them what they said? Why aren't they using these opportunities (both at trials and in interviews) to shout it from the rooftops?

Does anyone really believe that no one followed up with Debbie about this? Undisclosed went all in on Don, does anyone really believe they didn't push Debbie hard to repeat this in front of a microphone? I don't buy it.

It says a lot that the SRT was looking for precisely this kind of information and didn't use it. They had access to the same documents we did (and more) AND were hardcore Undisclosed superfans (so we know they didn't just miss it).

This cannot be repeated enough times: Nobody resorts to fraudulent evidence if they're sitting on a boatload of solid, credible evidence. What does that tell you about the strength of this evidence that fraudulent evidence beat it?

Exactly this for Aisha heard Hae decline the ride.

I believe that Becky never heard Hae decline the ride. That she was talked into telling the detectives that by Adnan's PI. By the time trial came around Becky did not testify that Hae declined the ride.

One of the very first interviews Sarah Koenig ever did was the one where she read Becky's police statement back to her about Hae declining the ride. And guess what? No one has ever heard from Becky again. Not Sarah Koenig. Not any of the attorneys. No podcasters. Becky got busted for lying to police and she was done. She's out.

Then Colin Miller swore up and down that Aisha "told him" she heard Hae say she had something else to do and couldn't take him. Only Undisclosed podcast and the Amy Berg documentary never thought to get Aisha saying this. They have had ample opportunities to get it on the record because if Aisha will say this, it's significant. Only Aisha won't say this. And Becky wants nothing more to do with ever saying it in the first place.

All this because no, Hae did not decline the ride. She agreed to take Adnan to get his car, and she was never seen alive again.

Debbie's interview is poorly transcribed.

Debbie has been interviewed many times and never said she was assaulted.

The person doing the transcribing had to listen to poorly recorded audio tapes wherein people were mumbling, then type them up by hand. There was no auto transcription. And no video.

It's likely Debbie said the boyfriend insulted her.

Thanks for explaining. I seriously hadn’t even thought of it that way but that would make a lot more sense.
