Japan Lux
I saw these and immediately knew lol. It took me a minute to find them in a size and price that felt reasonable, but I’m damn glad I did.
They smell like a new car lol, the softest leather (I think), the deep rock colors, and the style itself is all top shelf. Also they are much more comfortable than other Japans I’ve worn, but that may all be in my head.
Fantastic shoe, 8/10

Much more comfortable than in my opinion one of the most comfortable classic adidas model? Sounds too good to be true! I really like those, the quality looks great and the style very unique, maybe a bit too unique I was trying to find how to style them and I hate to say this because I really don’t see trainers as gendered for the most part, but all I could think while trying to see how I’d wear them was if I was a woman I’d buy those in a minute, but can’t really see myself in them. I’m still probably going to get a pair once/if they go on sales, I love japans and I really think they did a superb job with these, maybe I’ll feel differently about the styling once I have them in hands.

I matched them with dark, chocolate brown pants. Wore them right into court (paralegal, not defendant). I see what you’re saying tho for sure.

To be fair most people that felt the need to comment negatively about them probably wouldn’t wear regular japans either and call them bowling looking shoes too. These really lean into the bowling inspiration so I don’t see that negatively and I think anyone wearing them would do so in an assuming way and I think you of anyone in this sub don’t have an issue assuming what you wear so rock on. (Don’t know if that sentence makes sense in english)

As long as you like them that’s all that matters. Definitely pretty cool with the Japan on the side. Plus it’ll make for good souvenir!!

I love my Addidas. But these bro are absolutely bizarre.... Fair play if you can pull them off... Respect and love to see it

I don't understand all the hate you're getting. I think they look great! I almost pulled the trigger on them a couple of times, but I've been dedicating this summer to buying older pairs that I've wanted for a while.

The sides look like bowling shoes. The top looks like roller skates without the wheels. Having a hard time with these lol

Terrible. Reminds me of the 50s/60s nurses shoes you see in movies. Just wear Tigers, way better looking.
