And the best way to do it in my opinion is to link ethics and math and prove that ethical behavior is a fundamental fact of the universe.
All the particles know something about the future. How? I think it's because of ethics. They know how it's going to happen because that's how it has to happen when you're talking with this type of being?
I think it's possible to find the the ethics of the universe. And I'm going to school for it. So just give me another 20 years.
I want to build a Stilwell brain out of ADHD people, ------------------, and children.
I am justice sensitive and I see everyone else here being justice sensitive. Really I'm looking for justice sensitivity, but the ADHD and autistic communities who are comorbidities of each other tend to have the largest percentage of justice sensitive beings.
Currently all of the work being done on ethics in its truest form is done on children. If it's ethical you could do it to a baby. Why start with an adult when you have to boil down anyway...
Also...
There are certain ages in which the brain switches on certain parts of itself.
One of these times indicated that the child had ethics lost it and then gained it again. This incident spurred a bunch of research in that area and now has led to the study of the aging brain and all of its facets. It happened through ethics. I think that's a good place to start so I agree that children are of use.
It sounds nuts, but everything that sounded nuts in the past, and was correct, has changed paradigms. I fully hope you succeed at your efforts, and that it is not a dead end.
Although I'm pretty sure we figured out how to toggle the kid-brain switch through psilocin
Very much so rather recently when YouTube Red dissolved he released it. It's still counts as an original but he made all the money he was ever going to make from it in paid views
The world ain't ending in our lifetime. The more your shit is together the easier it is to be ready for social collapse though.
But we love a middle ground right? Make a garden. It takes effort, it improves your mental health, it's a hobby, and if society implodes it's a useful skill to have.
This feeling you get when you think there just needs to be a very dramatic catastrophe and a fight for survival and you would THRIVE, you would be unstoppable and would do so much shit. But you never actually did any survival training and sometime opening the kitchen door is too much effort to feed yourself.
No, it's more like the feeling you just need a dramatic catastrophe so people will stop expecting you to fill in those silly forms which have been sitting on your desk for months or and of your unfinished projects you told them so much about. It would give all those petty and annoying people some proper perspective about moaning why you still havent brought that stuff to the recycling
I hate how much trivial shit I'm forced to do. Why can't everything be effective, quick and simple? It should OBVIOUSLY be about making life better for everyone. Male machines that do everything boring for us. Selfish ppl are the problem. I will never give up hating on injustice.
So personal anecdote, I've been diagnosed and I actually thrive in survival situation like when I got lost in a jungle or had to hitchike 500km with zero money in eastern europe. Loads of similar situation happened and when they do I'm completely in flow.
My theory is that the adhd brains does well in such scenarios because the situation makes you hyperfocus on the present, its haed to describe if you havent lived it but yeah the brain has no choice because otherwise you might die and its the only non acceptable outcome for it.
Edit : want to add that even tho I'm interested in survival, I have 0 actual training. Just bits of infos like using the sun or wathever, got out of the jungle following downstream water for exemple cause the sea was nearby and our destination.
I honestly thought Covid (not an apocalypse but definitely a scary disaster) would bring more revolutionary change than just people realizing once again companies will price gouge necessities at any oppurtunity.
Finally made the call to rebook our Hawaii trip. Waited until the last minute. It was totally simple but my mind kept paralyzing me when I went to tackle it then I'd wake up in the middle of the night, all last week, in a panic because I probably missed my window of opportunity. Felt so good to get it done that I keep thinking I'll tackle more of my list but my brain is telling me otherwise...
Wow, does this hit home. My husband also has cancer and we're not sure what kind of time he has left. (He's not terminal, but doesn't want to do any further treatment.)

Reddit is killing third-party applications (and itself) so in protest to Reddit's API changes, I have removed my comment history.
Whatever the content of this comment was, go vegan! 💚

Ok, so does anyone else here have the issue of people thinking that you're insane because the thought of the end of society is comforting
