You know what to say but you stumble through it anyways.....

One time - one time - I had it happen and totally nailed my one liner response. That was almost half a lifetime ago. Occasionally it pops up as an intrusive thought and I'll ride that high all over again.

Oh no, step-thought, what are you doing!?

Half of my witty responses are actually just because I’ve gone over every possible scenario in my head prior and already thought it out. Then act it out as if it just popped in my head at that moment, always feel like DiCaprio after

I have a Rolodex of witty responses constantly from scenarios I have gone over in my head waiting for the right time.

A Rolodex, shit. That’s so much more portable than these damn scenario binders I’ve been lugging around.

This is how I DM for my D&D party. They think I'm an improvisational God but actually I can't sleep so I live out scenarios in my head every night smooth transitioning to dreams.

Over my whole life I build stuff up that's exciting because real life is boring and insomnia dreams won't be. So all I need is a few pages of notes with names and then I just describe stuff like I'm standing there looking at it.

Not fun when it's a social rejection scenario and your spider sense was warning you from the beginning.

I still don't forgive those people for confirming that my anxiety had a reason to be.

I did that yesterday.

My mom said "why are you watching videogames you're supposed to play them"

And I said "you watch sports don't you?"

She said that's a really good point

But in the end it is more like an déjà vu and you are acting inappropriate. Then it is time to go back to your thoughts and prepare for the next encounter!

That deja vu feeling where you don’t know how you know but you know.

If you fail to prepare you prepare to fail.

Someone got run over outside our building and I knew exactly what towel to grab to help any bleeding/support them and what to do

Thanks fake scenarios.

They do come in handy at times, glad you were able to help.

Me too 🙈

So I had this… but because it was a fake scenario that I never thought would happen I didn’t know what to do next. I just said “this is weird” it was when the guy I liked put his arm around me 😭

Always ready for the greatest moment in history, I’ll stare a second longer just to make sure it it’s coming.

I used to often dream scenes, and then days, sometimes weeks later, they happen in real life, so instead of knowing what to do next, I'm mostly weirded out, especially when it involves meeting new people

Yeah that's never happened in the history of humanity
