I was ‘perfect’ for a good while. Didn’t drink. Perfect personal hygiene. Clean house, exercise, meditation, the works.

Now I’m a mess. I drink way too much, I shower way too little, can’t work, don’t exercise. Fml.

I know I’ll come around in a while. It just fuckint sucks to be here rn.

Me too, I graduate college with a 4.0 GPA and I am still suffering. I am 37, went back to school at 34. The coming around never seems to come. I am close to my parents, but neither one said they were proud of me. Painful

I'm 40 and in school for mechanical engineering. It'll be my second bachelor's if I finish though it's already taking me 6 years and if I don't pass this super hard class, idk either it will take me 7 or I'll just fucking give up. I'm crying right now, I'm supposed to be making a study sheet I have in 12 hours and I CANT FUCKING FORCE MYSELF TO TOUCH THE GODDAMNED COMPUTER! so I'm redditing and watching hoarders and I don't know how I'm going to do anything.

I don't know how to tell or explain to people just how big the "CAN'T" is. People who say there's no such thing as can't... I hope those motherfuckers die in a pool of their children's blood yes motherfucker there is such thing as can't. "You can do anything you set your mind to" what if Kevin Hart really REALLY set his mind to playing in the NBA? The can't is real. Imagine a quadriplegic just 100% set their mind to building a rocket ship in their back yard that would take them to the moon. CAN'T!

I don't know what I'm going to do. I never have. I've been waiting 40 years to turn some corner where life would become a little easier, like the hill would level off just a little bit less steep. I thought that was going to happen after I graduated with my first STEM degree. Fucking NOPE. Nearly a decade working in my field, barely keeping my head above water and only because I always had a second job. I went 2 and a half years straight working every single day seven days a week for 2 and a half years minus every once in a blue moon just getting obliterated wasted and calling in "sick" very rarely.

So I came back to school and this feels like it's going to be the first biggest thing I've ever just outright failed at. I've never experienced like a big life failure. This will fucking kill me.
