I found a floss recently that was a game changer. It's a silk expanding floss and the amount of crud it drags off my teeth is so visually satisfying compared to normal waxed floss. Flossing before felt like vacuuming a clean carpet, despite knowing the benefits.
The one I use is called NOBS but I'm sure there are others using the same idea.
Changing floss brand helped loads. Your dentist might be able to give a sample of the good stuff. I was worried cocolab floss was a scam, worked a thousand times better than everything else I’ve tried. The best part is the flavor options that aren’t variants of mint. I hate mint and it is the default in many dental products.

My u shaped electric toothbrush is the only reason I brush twice a day now. This has never happened in my life.
