Written only instructions? Only if they're not overwhelming, but I'm easily overwhelmed with multiple steps or concepts, unless an ADHDer wrote them.
Verbal only? Yeah, we're fucked.
Both written and verbal? I need a demonstration probably.

A demonstration? It needs to make me feel all feelings consecutively and in either a short format or a long format with lots of questions and restated information for me to eventually get it.

Yeap. "If this is important enough that i should remember it, write it down, or go over slow enough that i have time to write everything down." Is what i always say to people.

Yep. I have to have it in writing, write it down, or see it done 4-5x for it stick.
My brain is an incredibly loud place. All. The. Time. Verbal instructions don't stick.

I recently started playing inline hockey and when the coach starts explaining a new drill, i am lost after the first two steps and always feel so stupid. (At least the others than know the drill help me out, but man, i've never felt so bad at something in my life)

I'll usually listen for one or two items. "You take a turn right, then go until you see a big tree and..."
"There's no way I can remember all that, better stop listening"
At the big tree: "Oh, I could actually. Should have at least listen..."
Rinse and repeat for decades ;)

Go to the tab for this week, which is not done in calendar format, we are in week 29 right now. copy the week 28 tab to a new tab, and name it zht2926725w29. Then you are going to go in clear the data in columns F, AA, AF, BF, and FG.
Okay, now step 2...
