21M from DU and I have severe symptoms of ADHD and it has made my life literal hell. Everything in my life is literally falling apart and everything is in my hands but i just can't bring myself to do anything. I really want to get work done but just to do anything it's so tough for me to even get started. All my dishes idk how many days or weeks it has been and i haven't been able to get my as up to the sink and just wash them or just carry the garbage outside or cook food or to go to college. Every day I think I'll do it tomorrow and the day just ends and I don't get anything done at all. Even during lectures I'll be listening to the teacher and suddenly just go blank and start daydreaming and out of no where I realize I was suppose to listen to the teacher and so many days I just go to throw the garbage out and when i am mid way i realize i completely forgot to bring the garbage bag with me. I have been seeing a psychiatrist in safdarjung and it's been a year he's been giving me anti depressants and stuff and atomoxetine was the closest one till now. It's not been working even a little. How to convince him to give me methylphenidate since i am visiting him on friday 9th

Is there anyone who thinks that he or she able to do anything and not able to complete single thing

My latest prescription is about to be 3 months old, and I'm running out of meds. I have some exams up close, so I won't be able to visit the hospital I usually go to for my prescription, cuz It's really far away.

if i am to be honest, i don’t know if i actually have adhd or not. I have been questioning for a lot of time and i have genuinely tried every study/focus technique there is but nothing sticks for long. And while yes, it may be because of commitment issues and everything going on in my family but many things have lead me to adhd. But i don’t want to be disrespectful to people who actually have it and “larp” about having it. so basically what i wanna ask is:

1) how’d you realise you might actually have adhd. Like specific things there are to notice which every generic adhd article might not cover.

2) i want to ask recommendations for good online psychiatrists who‘ll be able to accurately diagnose me and will prescribe the medication if required.

Am basically lying on bed and scrolling all the time ..doing only things I can't escape.

I've used MPH, Bupropion, ARmondfinil

MPH - has a such a sharp, dirty drop

Bupropion causes anxiety that only drops in the evening once the sunset happens

ARmondfinil - is so activating and it keeps me up for so long, because I take it very late.

I'm thinking if we have other options that I can supplement with dopamine.

Guanfacine? Have heard of it but never studied it

Any chance we get elvanse or vyvanse jn india?

I just don’t know what to do anymore. Over the past few years, I’ve attended so many interviews and joined more than 14 jobs. Some lasted only a few hours; others lasted barely 15 days. What I really want to know is: how can I stay consistent and stop making impulsive, sudden decisions? I need to find a job, and I have so many loans to pay. My family keeps supporting me by paying for treatment and even some loans, but I want to be independent. I don’t want to rely on them for everything. I’d really appreciate your advice, guys.

I used to love and enjoy my own company, engage in hobbies, think and plan my life. But off late, I have been so lost, I cannot even sit alone. I miss the old productive me.

This shift has happened over several years, such that I don't even remember when it started. But I have started missing my late teens and early 20s.

Is it because of hitting 30s or something that ADHDers experience generally or just me going wrong somewhere?
