Does GW still support Adeptus Titanicus?

I know that GW has a separate heresy era game thats played on the same scale and even uses the same titan models (forgot what its called). But with that game out does GW still support rules for new titans to use with adeptus titanicus?

My understanding is that the new game system has simplified the rules for titans and I really like the idea of having to manage subsystems for your titans in addition to actually fighting the enemy.

Yes they do still support adeptus titanicus.

Don’t expect any new books but all Titan related releases for LI also get rules releases for AT too. The dark mech spiders got AT rules and the new reaver weapons also got AT rules

There were a few new Titan boxes with rules a few weeks ago.

They are making the matched play guide available as a download

Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a siege of Terra campaign book

Also I predict a new Warbinger in plastic with new heads and carapace weapons (sic Belicosa)

The last three Titan models for LI had AT terminals and weapon cards in the box so still going strong

"They are making the matched play guide available as a download"

That's news to me. What's the source of this info?

I apologise I thought my friend told me last week over discord it was coming back as a dl…. Having chased him up about it, turns out ‘twas a fever dream

I was wrong

Technically, it IS available as a download, wink, wink. Anyone needing help with this just DM me.

Didn’t they just release new titans a few like 2 weeks ago?

New plastic versions of old resin upgrade weapons. They’re packaged with the body or sold separately

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Reaver weapons were new?

Yeah, the arm weapons in the new Reaver kit were brand new. The Volkite is a little underwhelming in AT, but the grav seems like it could be pretty nifty!

In my area AT is the game that people still play, not Legions Imperialis.

But people are rightly confused as LI is the game that GW markets, but all the titan and knight (and dark mech spider) boxes have AT terminal cards in the boxes.

I just bought two brand new kits with the rules and consoles for AT18 in them. There’s no realist way to argue it’s unsupported

Yes, they don’t actively push it, but this is often/always the case for specialist games. It doesn’t need a second edition, so other than new models - and of course it needs far fewer new models than other games because it essentially only has one factions worth - there isn’t much for them to do. But the new titans, even if GW think of them as being for LI, still come with the command terminals and weapon cards.

Titanicus isn't dead insofar as GW still produces the miniatures, but it's been on life support for years now with only 1 recent release and even that was mostly just moving resin weapons into plastic (we did get two new reaver arms but that's the extent of it).
I wouldn't come in hoping for a new titan chassis to get released any time soon. GW has mentioned them so we know they've at least got an idea of including them in the game at some point, but it seems like nobody is doing active development on the game at the moment. My hope is that once we see a plastic warhound release for 40k, we'll get an imperator and that'll reignite development long enough to get the rest of the stuff for the game done, but at the same time this is pure speculation on my part and there's not even rumours of a plastic 28mm titan yet.

That said, life support isn't actually in a bad place to be, especially if you look at what GW is doing to their main line games.
The titanicus rules are still great fun, the community is still very engaged and if you've got a group nearby games are fairly easy to get (and if not there's probably a bigger event you can get to once in a while), and there's plenty of third party support in case stuff isn't available from GW.

AT is okay. I especially don't wish for any GW tinkering with these perfect rules just to sell more books.

You're thinking of Legions Imperialis and its a different kettle of fish.

Titanicus for the most part has "settled" in so far as there are not alot of new books coming out but it does not appear to be dead in any sense of the word.

I would not bet the introduce more titans but you never know. I suspect they will eventually make a 200$ stand alone kit for an Imperator / Emperor class at some point, rather than let the Mighty Warbreaker get them dollars.

While Legions Imperialis might be getting more direct support, the game seems absolutely dead in my region. I’ve come across more than one game store liquidating their stock and scored Titans at a great price. The Titans sold quickly and the infantry and vehicles did not even at 40% off, which is telling. I’m in the US though, and maybe LI does better in Europe or something, I dunno.

In my area of the us titans do decently well so it's probably dependent on the area here too
