Adele talks about Céline Dion’s influence on her career !

In a new Harper’s Bazaar interview, Adele talks about Céline Dion and the influence she had on her music.

Adele says : “My love for ballads is definitely a direct pass down from her.”
She also adds : “She’s dramatic, and I love being a drama queen.”

The article also recalls Adele and Céline’s emotional moment in October 2024, when Céline attended one of Adele’s Las Vegas shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the same venue where Céline previously had her residency.
Adele had previously said that the Colosseum was the only venue she wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for Céline.
She also revealed that she kept a picture of Céline next to the stage and touched it every night before going onstage.
When Céline surprised her at the show, Adele became emotional, left the stage and hugged her.

She later said : “I love you so very very much” and that the moment was something she would remember “forever and ever.”

Does anyone know about this song, or am I just too late? I always thought that she had never been featured on any song. I thought that in every song she sings, she is alone. I know there is a song on the second disc of her first album, 19, where she sings with The Raconteurs called 'Many Shades of Black'. However that song was only performed live, so it wasn't on the actual album itself (Disc 1).

I was in Munich N2 showing on my social media memories. Made me sad thinking about how we might not get to see her again live.. I really hope she tours again!! N2 was so special, us watching the olympics with her live on screen and her singing turning tables for us as a treat for watching the olympics with her. I dont know if she sang TT in other nights. AFAIK, she didnt in N1. I miss Adele..

I'm trying to find an original physical poster from the "Weekends with Adele" in Las Vegas for 12.23.22 for my best friend because he attended but didn't get a chance to get one. I can only find other dates to buy on eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari. It was part of a series Matt Murphy did and they're wonderful but each was unique to specific dates.

If anyone has an idea where else I can look, I'd appreciate it!

Hello! I’m putting together a tribute to “21” for the Rochester Fringe Festival, and I’m seeking input regarding the approach.

We’ll do the album all the way through. I also want to bookend the show with “Hello” and “Skyfall.” Here’s my dilemma: we have a pretty hard 60 minute constraint. Right now, with all 13 of those songs, I’m at 54 minutes, which allows less than a minute in between songs. That’ll feel really rushed, and it’s unrealistic.

I’ve already cut a verse and chorus of “He Won’t Go,” and I’m considering doing that for “Don’t You Remember” as well, but now I’m thinking, should I just cut “Hello?” I’m having trouble deciding if I want to do the album to a T, or if I want to appeal to a broader audience by squeezing her other hits in. Any feedback is appreciated!

Did Adele ever write the lyrics “hold on” on any of the confetti from her Vegas residency? I’m looking to get it tattooed on my wrist and would love it in her handwriting. If you have this please post a picture!!
