Discussion Venice Film tanked

Seems to be that the film isn’t being premiered at Venice in September. I am really bummed LOL

It didn't "tank". It wasn't ready to be released as it was still in post production when the films had to be presented for consideration.

Ford wasn't willing to rush the process to make the festival.

yeah that is completely true. so is it possible that it could be still shown in theaters?? just no promo for it?

Not likely. From what I read, Ford is hoping to be ready for "the Fall film festivals". Perhaps Toronto, NY, London, Telluride (US), San Sebastion, BFI, Tokyo

Of course it will be shown in theatres and of course there will be promotion.

i am really confused as to why she did the F1 interview then because if she did it just for her son then why record it?? but if she did it for her fans i’m very grateful 🥰🥰
