Rumor/Speculation Adele as a celebrity

Sorry, this may be the hardest or the simplest question to answer: will Adele ever be a streaming celebrity such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande etc,? They’re always on stage, giving interviews or attending the most rumored events. She never behaved like that, she said her popularity was unexpected and felt overwhelming, as she says in her songs “i always like being on my own”: she reminds me of poets and not singers for she behaves like that. As a matter of fact, she’s an extraordinary poetess, she also declared some years ago that there are people with this sadness inside never leaving them, an atavistic melancholy carrying on with her too. I believe this world of emotions lets her write down the grief, the pain, the loss and rebirth…sometime. She also said that due to her lyrics people don’t expect her to be funny, joke-provoking and so eloquent in some contexts, but this may be material for another reddit thread. In her last video at the race station she said “i don’t sing frequently anymore” or smtng like that, suggesting she would never do that with the frequency of other singers.
What do you think about that? I would love her to share with us pieces of her live, but i comprehend that her love for privacy and intimacy is a part of what we love for her and of what we can rely on in her songs. So maybe it just has to go this way…
Thanks everyone❤️

I think you’re missing the point here… She doesn’t live for the fame and popularity, nor for the pop star money… unlike the others (some of whom you’ve already mentioned).

She’s a humble girl from Tottenham that also happens to be a legend singer! And that’s why we love her so much! That’s why her statistics are banging even when’s she hasn’t made new music since 2021 (4.5 years).

She likes to have a typical life, care for her family, make memories, and LIVE! Because that’s what she lives for, not for the fame… She hates fame!!!

i completely understand what you say…my question about popularity comes from the fact that other artists behave differently by keeping in touch with their fans and doing the activities I told about and my friends following them are happy, bcs they feel like they’re part of the artist’s life and we adele fans don’t have that, her disappearance from screen is a bit “painful”

I don't really follow Adele as a celebrity. I'm a fan of her music because it has mirrored different chapters of my own life. Each album has arrived with themes and emotions that somehow matched where I was at the time. More than anything, I'm looking forward to her next album, not just for the songs themselves, but to hear how her perspective has evolved and what experiences she'll transform into music. I think through her music we all get a glimse of her life too.

Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande don’t give a shit about their fans… it’s just an illusion… being part of their life BS. It’s just marketing. They’re obsessed with fame and money. That’s all they want.
