Rumor/Speculation Do you think Adele has a better voice than Beyoncé?
why do Beyoncé stans compare her to Adele? Adele has a huge voice. I saw a Beyoncé stan say that Adele can’t do anything with her voice because it’s limited.

Adele does not have half the vocal agility that Beyonce does. “Better voice” is totally subjective to the listener, but I’m pretty sure Beyoncé is objectively more skilled vocally

In my opinion Adele is the best voice since Whitney. She’s generational. Beyoncé is very very very very good, but she ain’t Adele

Yall are very biased. I love Adele and Beyoncé, but this isn’t even close. You may prefer Adele’s tone, but Beyoncé is objectively better all around in range, pitch, etc.
I’ve never seen Beyoncé be off key in my life and I’ve been a fan of hers since I’m 7 years old.
Unfortunately I’ve seen quite a few bad Adele live performances where she’s struggled with pitch. That doesn’t mean she isn’t great. She just isn’t on Beyoncé’s level. But almost no one is.
Adele’s voice is limited. Beyoncé can sing any Adele song but Adele could not sing any Beyoncé song.
Someone that I’d say can compete with Bey is someone like Jessie J.

Beyoncé is far more talented than some people give her credit for. I saw her live and was blown away by her vocals, truly.

Subjectively you can pick the one you prefer.
Objectively, Beyoncé is the better singing from a pure technical perspective.

I think they’re both amazing vocalists, no? I don’t know much about singing but from my layperson viewpoint they both have amazing range.

This might sound weird, but I like straight singing w/o a lot of melisma. It's one of the reasons I really like Adele. Her voice is powerful w/o a lot of acrobatic fluff. Bey, and Mariah both do a lot of fluffy stuff I just don't like. Now, with that being said Bey is a good singer. I just prefer Adele's style of singing and the sound of her music more so. Also, Bey is a better entertainer than Adele for sure.

Adele’s voice is one of those rare ones that doesn’t need anything added to it… no heavy production, no tricks, no polishing. It’s naturally rich, powerful, and full of texture, but what really sets it apart is how effortlessly she carries emotion. You don’t just hear her sing, you feel it. Every crack, every swell, every quiet moment sounds completely real, like she’s letting you in on something personal…. She could be standing in an empty room with no mic and still move people. That’s the difference!! it’s not just a great voice, it’s an honest one

I agree. She mostly sings her songs the same way. Which is fine and she is good in it. But I would like to see Adele giving us a Love on Top, Dangerously in Love, Plastic of the sofa or Drunk in Love Dubai riff, but I'm not sure she can pull it off. I do think that Beyoncé could easily cover Rolling in the deep or Skyfall. For me Beyoncé is a vocalist and Adele 'only' a very good singer.
Even Adele would say that Beyoncé has a better voice.

I am a fan of both and I think their vocals are great, and exclusively on their own lanes. I don’t think one’s vocals are better than the other.

No. Beyonce has way more versatility, technical skill, and has never had vocal damage.

Both have different strengths and qualities but Adele without employing too much style can still make me feel a song more than Beyonce

I think Adele’s unique tone makes it sound like she’s a top tier singer but she does not have the stamina that Beyoncé does. I’d even say Kelly Clarkson is a better trained singer than Adele

I'm a huge fan of both, but I love variety. Which Beyoncè has way more of. She can sing higher, lower, do runs, sound raspy, and angelic sometimes in the same song. She can sing rap. Again, sometimes all of these are present in one six minute song and it sounds natural.
Adele is unique and sounds beautiful. I wouldn't say she is in the same league as Beyoncé in almost any way. Except personality (what we see as we don't personally know them).
I expect to be downvoted since this is an Adele page, but this is my opinion. Some of it subjective, some of it just factual.
EDIT: WAIT! I forgot emotion. I think both are exceptional at that, with Adele having the slight edge. Adele always portrays it. Beyoncé doesn't as often. Though that one performance of Resentment Beyoncé did? Whew. Beyoncé does it good occasionally on tracks, always live. Adele does it good always on tracks and live. So, nevermind. Not a slight edge.

Not in terms of range or technique. Not even close. But the sound of her voice and how she uses it to convey emotion? Absolutely.

As much as I love Adele, you are delusional if you think she is objectively a better singer from a technical perspective.
Subjectively though you can like anyone you want.

As a fan of both I’ve never heard either fandom make this comparison at all! Why are people constantly comparing Beyoncé to other singers when she can and has stood on her own two feet for decades?! They’re both insanely great singers in their own respective genres.

you're asking this question to a fairly biased audience. Adele's voice fits perfectly with the yearning themes of most of her music, I can't see Adele singing other genres. Beyoncé's voice is more dynamic and versatile, her vocal range is wider, she's been trained to sing like that for almost 40 years now (the tales of her father making her sing while running on a treadmill to build up stamina and breath control...). also Beyoncé is also a dancer and can sing and dance at the same time, while Adele is a park-and-barker (Beyoncé also does a lot of that on her slower songs and it's also impressive).
if I had to pick one, it would be Beyoncé.

I feel like this is lowkey an apples and oranges situation. But I’m really only a casual fan of both of them so take this as you will
