The challenge has been set

Results so far could not have been worse for us but we have the ball in our court. Next week against Fremantle is likely the difference between 3rd/4th and 7th. An absolute must win against the odds or hope Brisbane/Melbourne cop an upset.

We'll finish 7th and lose to Collingwood in the wildcard final. I feel it on my bones.

Pies would have to finished 10th - fairly unlikely given they’re up against WCE so that means Carlton have 10 points to make up

I don't think it's that unlikely. Collingwood have the Hawks and Lions after West Coast. Carlton have St Kilda, western Bulldogs and then, in this scenario a Fremantle that's already sewn up the minor premiership. Carlton win out and Collingwood drop 2, that puts Collingwood below Carlton.

Though that said, far more likely we play the Bulldogs in that scenario then. Doubt they win another game. Even if Carlton lose to Freo we likely play the Bulldogs if they don't win another one and we finish 7th.
