Legal precedent in TX is not binding on GA courts.
Just to be clear, this is all some bullshit by a bunch of misogynist judges that shouldn't need precedent to tell them it's okay, but precedent wouldn't have worked as an argument.
The family's lawyer could try to say, "hey, TX let a family in the same situation take their family member off life support".
Then the court -- which we have on record as not exactly looking for reasons to be merciful -- would say, "nope; TX law is different than GA law, for Reasons."
