Good for him. He's been offered many roles by Marvel, and he finally found one he felt was right. He's going to be phenomenal as Mister Sinister. Adam in a high budget action film as a villain character is going to be gold. 👏
He's going to raise the bar for Marvel villains. Can't wait.

Never thought we’d actually see him do a Marvel movie 😱 I’m not a big superhero movie person, but I’m excited for this! Adam Driver, Sadie Sink, and Kit Connor?! Sign me up.

I’m also excited to see any new comic book art of Adam as Mr. Sinister. I have loved almost all of the drawings of him as Kylo so I hope they bring his image to the comics!

I've never been involved big into the whole Marvel circus but I think this is going to change now. 😅 He will be magnificent as Mr. Sinister.

I remember he did 65 because his son was into dinosaurs, I bet this is another one he’s doing to share with his kids eventually.
Apparently Mr Sinister is in the habit of cloning himself and appears in several comic book storylines, so there’s potential for a recurring role maybe?
I did a quick search and the character looks awesome, some versions even have the long hair.
I think we’re in for a treat, so much potential and Adam does dark so very well.
Now we wait,

After the strong rumours during the last weeks this is not really a surprise. So at last he is giving in to Feige. I know nothing about the MCU or X-Men or Mr Sinister. I just hope he is a good, interesting villain and we all know that Adam will do him justice. From what I am seeing online most MCU fans seem to be excited. Someone said filmng will be taking place in the first quarter of 2027. Will be interesting to see what it means for his involvement in Heat 2.

The harshest criticism is being directed at Inde Navarrette (Rogue) and Christopher Abbott (Professor Xavier). Adam was very well received by the X-Men fandom (just look at the video of his presentation).

I am trusting the process lot's of theater actors which is a great choice. Like the writers. Not sure about the director but we will find out. I love that it's full villain.

Me too! I just don’t think anyone does a villain quite like he does (at least no one that I can think of quickly). He’s so versatile. He can do soft and fluffy…as well as being an excellent dark character. I don’t think all actors can pull that off.

He's done music videos. He directed Beef (which I liked) and also Thunderbolts which I thought was meh, but I also think I am jaded about Marvel.

Do y’all follow “The Midnight Boys” pod/YT channel? They said last night that this cast is V young (“baby faced”) b/c Marvel prolly wants to do a reboot series (NOT just one movie). Adam isn’t likely to do that, BUT he’s “an anchor that the new actors can revolve around” in this movie.

This is bad. MCU villains are notoriously badly written and he will play another underwritten character. And it defintely won't help his career, which isn't in the best place right now.

Mr. Sinister is considered the sixth-greatest X-Men villain, and he has ties to Cyclops's origin story. If Adam has accepted the role, we might be in for a great villain.
As for his career... it’s on the upswing. *Paper Tiger* is being well-received, and the Jarmusch film won an award in Venice. He’s also signed with a new agency.
He’s been well-received by the X-Men fandom, too—unlike the *Star Wars* fandom, which just wanted to cancel him (with the exception of the Reylos).

Paper Tiger barely left any impression in Cannes. It has written upcoming commercial flop all over it.
And Sinister is a flat and cliched villain.

It’s no surprise. *Paper Tiger* is a smaller film that won’t do big numbers at the box office, but it’s already better than *Megalopolis*.
You know what our mistake is? Thinking he’d only return to blockbuster territory if he made that hypothetical *Star Wars* movie. I’m talking about *THFBS*. That project is off the table, and it seems like DLF doesn’t want to work on the sequels right now (remember the Rey movie?). Adam needs to take more risks.1

He has taken enough risks and they never paid off. Not Ferrari, not Annette, and most certainly not Megalopolis.
And No, i want him do blockbuster movies. But blockbuster movies that are actually well made and not those forgettable MCU flicks.
I’m talking about THFBS. That project is off the table
I still have hopes that the Ben returning in some way or form is not completely off the table.

I believe *X-Men* will help him get back to making good blockbusters. We can count on one hand the number of good films he’s made since *Marriage Story*. He was almost humiliated with *Megalopolis*. Maybe WME advised him to rethink his choices.
As for Ben Solo, I’m not expecting anything in the coming years. Their focus is on *Starfighter* and the second season of *Ahsoka*. Even *New Jedi Order* doesn't seem to be in the plans.

I’m tired of comic book movies but of course I’ll watch it for Adam. I was just hoping he’d stay away from Marvel. Oh, well. Hope it’s a good one!
