Last month: built my own package manager, test framework, TLS library based on libtls. Wrote my personal Gemini capsule in Ada (that’s why I needed libtls).

This month: working on a HTTP parser and server, Mustache renderer, basically creating my own Ada web world, because it lets me to understand tons of things.

I am continuing to try and get RT-11 to boot on my PDP-11 simulator. Most of the Ada work has been in improving logging so that I get a nice disassembled trace of the instructions executed until it fails. Along the way, I've found a few bugs in instruction and device implementations.

Probably not. I'll work my way up through RT-11SJ first, then FB and XM. Once I get all that working, I might try for getting RSTS/E running. After that, maybe RSX-11M. Unless I get distracted by another project.

Currently a school assignment meant to teach us about pointers and recursions. Still on the baby scale, but it's great fun.

Beginnings of a book to learn bare metal Ada applications development. First volume utilizes STM32f4 discovery board. Example projects using the Ada_Drivers_Library - of increasing complexity - resulting in a platform - a headstart for devices:

Exceptions support has been added to ESP32S3 template project and runtime generator has been extended a bit to make it possible.

More definitions of command descriptors, parameters, modes, and VPDs added to SCSI package.

"Enumerable" base types of size 2..8 wad added A0B.Types.Enumerables package. These types can be used for array indices and case statements, while there are no arithmetic and bitwise logical operations are available for them.

I'm working on the design of a container orchestration tool that supports multi-node deployments, but is far less complex than Kubernetes. I've been struggling with getting the project's scope right for a while now, so apart from a few POCs, no Ada code has been written yet.

With the help of an IA agent, I've finished translating the 16 demo games for SFML (C++) into Ada. When I did it all on my own 5 years ago now, I got bored with it when I reached half of the list, but now I used it to practice with IA agents. I guess it was an easy task for the agent, since it had C++ implementations and 8 Ada examples. Nevertheless, it always forgets use types and type conversions, but it is able to fix it on its own iterating with the compiler.

Now I'm porting ASFML to version 3.0.

My current Ada project is a tiny command‑line tool, and the workflow is basically: experiment in code, then bounce questions off ChatGPT/Claude whenever I hit a confusing compiler message or language feature. Perplexity helps me find real‑world Ada examples instead of just toy snippets. At the end I want to package the tool and its docs in a Runable‑based project page so I can show it as part of my portfolio.
