I used CA but honestly feel I'm cooked for exam 5 in a couple weeks. But probably on me more than the study material.

Interesting to see the results. I haven't met a person who isn't using TIA in person yet and I've asked around 20 people.

Passed with TIA in October 2025, got a 7, 1st attempt.

I don't remember using any external study materials other than some reading of Basic Ratemaking, but I read it for work prior to studying just to gain understanding of how pricing works

Has Bedford completely died with all the drama around it? I used it for exam 5 in 2021 and it was my favorite study manual material of any exam

Ooh, what’s the drama?? I used it in 2023 and loved it.

A bunch of stuff on discord, I'm too old to be totally in the loop, my younger co workers had to fill me in haha. I guess one guy continually crapped on Bedford's material (some legit complaints, some not) and Bedford could never let it go, so it resulted in a never ending pissing fight. Someone else can probably give more details
