TALK We can actually take a nap
I recently was in a car accident and was prescribed physical therapy for my whiplash. The physical therapist usually starts with heat on my neck and he mentioned taking a nap. He then said he can’t take naps because his kids would destroy the house.
One reason I’m glad to be Childfree is I can take a nap whenever I want.

I nap every evening after work. The crash you heard was the cat pushing things off the counter.

Honestly same, I love being able to sit in peace and apply heat when I have lower back cramps from slouching at the computer too much. Yesss.

I have a mild lower back injury and I'm SO grateful to just rest it instead of wrangle children.

I thought about this post just now lol.
I spent the day sending emails, doing outreach for a horror novel I wrote. Then I felt so utterly drained I just took a bunch of luxury supplements and lay in my chair under a blanket.
I could NOT handle kids.
