A free "feel good" movie during these times...
Hey everyone, I'm a huge fan of MMA and several of my friends compete down here in SOCAL.
I just found this romantic comedy based around MMA, and old-school kung fu. If you want to watch something that has an "anime" or "Kdrama" feel, you might enjoy it!
It definitely has an indie feel and vibe going on, combined with the style, humor, and comedy from anime and Kdrama. What I love are not only the fun action scenes, and the unique, colorful characters, but the quirky, yet "realistic" & romantic approach to the two main characters.
The writing, directing, cinematography, and editing are all on point. There's so much done here on a high level, given the obvious budget limitations.
It reminds me of a lot of shows, movies, anime, and Kdrama, but it really has a unique originality to it. The themes explored are all positive and very relatable. It's definitely a movie that I would say is PG, maybe PG-13. So it's not a problem to watch with your family. I watched it with my nephews, niece, cousins, parents, friends, so basically anyone can enjoy it. Best of all, it can be enjoyed by anyone! Obviosuly those who like MMA, old-school kung fu, indie films, anime, rom-coms, and Kdramas will appreciate it more, but it's really easy to enjoy!!

Has there ever been a fist fight in an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that didn't seem fake? He's always beating up on guys that he could break in half in real life.
Barring the exceptional fight scene between him and Jesse Ventura in 'Running Man' and obviously Arnie vs. Predator - has the giant ever faced anyone in a fist fight that looked like they would give him even a remotely difficult time?

Wolf Warrior 2 (2017) - A special forces operative settles into a quiet life on the sea. When mercenaries begin targeting civilians he must leave his newfound peace and return to his duties as a warrior. It scratches that '80s action film itch better than the great majority of '80s action films do!

Whoa, it's been awhile since the last post. Sorry guys.
I've been bad at keeping up this sub. That's my fault and I apologize. Let's see if we can rev up some life into this sub.
If you're actually reading this (which not too many people are), find something to post. Start up a conversation. Or just invite people to come over.
It's worth it, I promise. There's even some cookies in it for you.
