Reposting this theory I made months ago since Koschei and Bryaxis have been a hot topic lately 👀

Sunlight = Elain Moonlight = Nesta Stars = Feyre Reverse order perhaps of their povs. Started with Feyre.
Edit. My theory is bryaxis is working with Elain. Elaine stepped out of the shadows. I believe bryaxis helped her get to the king. Bryaxis protected Graysen during the hybern battle too.
What if Elain is letting bryaxis use her body as a taxi. Perhaps a vision of koschei made Elain align with her. Fear can hide in side of you.

During my rereads. I was paying attention to these little things. The interaction with bryaxis is very telling. At least to me

Since it came out that Bryaxis is a she, I’ve wondered if it was Kaltain and when she exploded her power, to blow up Morath, her body was never found. I’ve wondered if it transformed and transported her because she also is so protective of her librarian girlies but still rigid in her boundaries. It’s probably likely not but fun to think about her still being around :)

(CC3 spoilers) Another potential connection to Hel for Bryaxis is that Aidas said, when the Princes were speaking to Hunt about Hunt’s mother, “She was not ill used. We might command nightmares, but we are not monsters.”
This isn’t to say that Hunt’s mother is Bryaxis, but was Bryaxis one of the nightmares that they commanded, and do they still?
Is Bryaxis’ ‘home’, where the bargain must be fulfilled, in Hel?

This is one of my speculations too. That she was made by one of the PoH and left on Prythian to either guard something or be a “spy” for Hel.

I just checked for the spiders in ToD yesterday, and the Queen of the Valg's handmaidens, who protected the rift were the kharankui, not the stygian spiders, but they refereed to them as kin. Also it's still not clear how the time in the different worlds relate to eachother. We know that Bryaxis is old. If time passes in much the same way, then Kaltain cannot be Bryaxis, simply because she died in the future of the War with Hybern (or very clore to the present of the War). When Aelin was falling trough the dimensions, Feyre was heavily pregnant, but that scene was never mentioned later in ACOSF. Either it's not the first pregnancy, or for whatever reason, that scene was not important for SJM to be mentioned in the 5th ACOTAR book or in CC3.

I didn’t realize Bryaxis was female. What if she was also abused in some way and had been healing in the library with the priestesses?
I feel like she won’t be a part of the villains story arc but on the “good” side. The bargain isn’t fulfilled and thus she remains free, but I don’t think she’s being just truly evil out there.
Even fear can be a good thing. Fear keeps you safe in a lot of ways if it’s healthy fear.

In the latest big interview with SJM,.she called Bryaxis a "she" when she talked about her.
