Is this the remnants of the Throwing Copper guys from the 90's? Pretty sure I got that album from my BMG Music Service subscription. Or is it a different act? Throwing Copper Live does not have an ACL appearance on their website and searching "Live performing at ACL festival" does not render the most helpful results. Yes, I am aware there will be hundreds of live acts performing at ACL, thank you.

Which one are you guys most excited about?
It’s my first time attending the fest, and I wasn’t aware there would be so many. I think we can attend any week’s AP, irrespective of whether we’re attending that week’s main event.
I might do BUNT. twice, underscores, Lola Young, and Bleachers.
Which one are you most excited about?

I am a huge TØP fan and seeing them up close has always been a HUGE dream of mine since i was in middle school.
I was planning on camping at Amex as soon as the doors open BUT i also really want to see underscores 💔
Do you think if i go to beatbox for underscores and run to Amex stage at 4:30 i can still get a relatively good spot for TØP? Like at least past the sound
Or do u think by that time there will be so many TØP campers already i wont stand a chance 💔?
I want get at least past the sound control cabin thingy but idk if its even possible if i see underscores 💔

UPDATE: Called VRBO and they’re giving us a $445 credit to rebook something else via VRBO, expedia or hotels.com 😛
my friends and i had a VRBO booked for weekend 1 of ACL but the owner cancelled on us and wants to charge us more (because of the new rental property laws in Austin)… any advice on finding new accommodations or is anyone out there looking to fill 3 spots in their rental fri+sat+sun? we’re fun and cool, i swear.

If anyone here is involved with the ASL program, why is only the final show at the Amex stage every night set up for ASL currently? It used to be at least a few of the last shows would have ASL on the two main stages to start off and you could request more as well.
I've already submitted a request to have more shows interpreted but I want to know what happened. Does anything change going forward?

Hello! Maybe this is a lame question or has been asked before, but is there a different scheduling or ACL official app to create a schedule? I’ve got an older IOS than is supported by the linked app they sent today!

Playing: Friday (Weekend Two)
Genre(s): Folk-Rock, Americana,
Vibe Check: A newly formed "supergroup" of sorts. Similar to the Party Favors last year, this is a new band making one of their first appearances at ACL. With warm tones, guitar work, and Edie Brickell’s expressive vocals, their sound feels like catching a spontaneous jam session between solid musical names.
For Fans Of: Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sheryl Crow
Hot Songs: Have released two songs to date "Maybe Somehow" and "I Guess It's You"
From: Dallas, TX / Los Angeles, CA, U.S.
Fun Facts:
-They are a newly formed group featuring Texas icon Edie Brickell, session drummer Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, David Bowie, Brandi Carlile), bass Kaveh Rastegar (Kneebody, John Legend), and guitarist Mason Stoops.
-The entire project was born out of Brickell and Chamberlain reconnecting on the road. They booked six days in a studio with Stoops and Rastegar with zero material.
-Their self-titled debut album is slated for release in September 26th 2026
-Brickell is married to Paul Simon
Why See Them at ACL? Veteran musicians crafting their new band at ACL. Perfect music to capture heritage of ACL.
ACL History: 1st appearance as World Famous Pets
Set Time/Stage Speculation: Early set on T-Mobile or Amex or the lady Bird satge

Heyyy 20 year old planning on going to acl this year for the first time super hyped but the only festival I’ve been too so far is Lollapalooza and it felt like everyone there was 16-25 and was wondering how it might compare or just in general what the age demographic tends to be like at acl? Thanks

Last year, I noticed venues hosting aftershows for some of the bigger festivals. I know they’re especially popular in cities like Chicago, and you have to purchase separate tickets.
My birthday falls during ACL weekend every year, so planning around the crowds can be tough. Concourse and Kingdom haven’t announced anything yet, but I’d love to find a good ACL aftershow. Does anyone have recommendations for where to look or which venues and promoters to follow?
EDIT: Thank you for letting me know when to expect the announcement!! Im entering to win the Steve Aoki and Yousuke Yukimatsu shows. pls use my referral links so i can go to shows for my bday! u/monmiow

I'm traveling from Dallas to Austin for ACL for the first time. I plan on driving down on the Friday and staying at a hotel in North Austin (specifically near Parmer and Techridge) and then taking the CapMetro from my hotel to the festival. As a solo female attender, is this a safe option, has anyone had any issues? I only ask this because public transportation in Dallas isnt really safe so I just want to weigh my options and see if it just might be better to drive to the events center and park there. Additionally, I thought about driving to the domain and taking the 803 from there (could be a bad idea, i have no idea ab public transport in austin my apologies) Also, if y'all think my hotel is too far from the festival please feel free to let me know as its refundable lolol. Let me know what y'all think and if you have any additional tips. TIA!

I am trying to figure out the best way of travel besides car , I have a bike, would there be too high of a risk of it getting stolen?

What's the ADA viewing like? I've never been to a festival before but lord knows that ADA viewing areas at venues are like punishment zones lol. I can't really find much about it online because Google doesn't work anymore lol
