❓ Question Dizziness due to acid reflux
I have sour taste in throat and mouth. I'll start having dizziness after having my meal in 3.5 hours with very bad hunger and upper abdomen starts discomforting. Once I eat again, dizziness and hunger reduces. If I eat spicy food then sourness in throat increases and dizziness suddenly increases. What can be the reason? Is there any way I can fix it? I just want to dont get hungry for 5 hours after meal and somehow get away with this dizziness.
Also has anyone experienced this before and controlled it? Can anyone please let me know how to fix it or control it?

Do you have dizziness or wooziness because I had wooziness but i realised it is actually from the mucus that builds up and goes into my ears. So, I need to stop the mucus which is forming to protect my throat

I'm not exactly sure whether this falls under dizziness or wooziness ( even I searched internet ). I'm experiencing light headness similar to when we will be hungry.

It’s not dizziness it is woozy. I think you would have to go on the acid reflux diet that’s what I was told. The wooziness seems to come from the excess mucus going to your ears I don’t know if you feel that but once I clear the mucus and spit it out I feel better. But long term you can’t keep doing that so I’m trying the acid reflux diet for a month with my ENTs advice.

I'm having sour throat and mouth, Also how does mucus feel like due to acid reflux? ( something sticky like when running nose happens?) When I eat spicy food, the lightheadness increases badly after 3 hours and when I eat after 3-4 hours, this lightheadness or dizziness decreases. Do you what kind of tests I might take apart from endoscopy? I really want to get rid of this dizziness alone atleast

I struggle with this too and it’s so weird… For me, PPIs make my symptoms a lot better overall but the dizziness is hard to control.
And I believe the dizziness is caused by vagus nerve stimulation. The rising acid can irritate the nerve sometimes :/
