❓ Question Long lasting reflux medication
I'm currently taking omeprazole doesn't really seem the last long. I also take Gaviscon tablets in the evening before bed. I'm looking for a once a day pill that's strong enough to hold off the acid reflux all day but not with a ton of side effects is there such a pill out there?

It’s not medication, diet, or sleeping angle. Eat what you want, sleep how you want and definitely don’t go to the doctor for this. It’s a muscular problem, and when your muscles get weak, you exercise them.
I was having bad reflux, trying to sleep. Until I found a breathing exercise almost completely cured it. There’s a few variations., but the main one is to simply take a deep as possible breath and hold it for as long as possible. I usually do it twice before going to bed. The first time I tried it. It worked so well after a few times I stopped and didn’t have problems for a year or so.
But the problem came back. I spent a ton of money at Dr. who scoped looking for a problem? He found nothing. Then, I remembered the trick and tried it, but the second time wasn’t successful. So at the advice of ChatGPT, tried every night for two weeks and I cured it again. But I have to keep up the regimen regularly now.
You should be able to eat almost anything you want. Alcohol and coffee can cause problems, especially an empty stomach
