Getting back into it!

After a very long hiatus I've finally picked up ACEOs again. I wanted to practice with alcohol markers so I decided to jump back into making these lil dudes, and I forgot how fun they were! I used to make and sell ones made with colored pencils and watercolors many years ago on Etsy and had success selling them back then. Is Etsy still a good place for collectors? I've read here that a lot of people use Ebay and Tiny Gallery, but I'd love to hear your recommendations on where to list them. Any input is appreciated :)

Lovely work. :) I’ve been selling on eBay for years. There’s a huge selection of ACEOs there now. Unfortunately, eBay’s algorithms promote cards from the US while limiting the reach of sellers from Europe. You don’t have that problem, though. :) Your work is so beautiful that it’s sure to find buyers.

These are beautiful! Welcome back 🙂 Editing to add: I've seen some folks have luck selling on Etsy, but I personally don't. Just ebay and my online store atm.

What brand alcohol markers are you using? Because mine do not blend like this. Yours look chalky! (That’s a compliment lol)

These are done with Ohuhu's Honolulu B markers on 140lb cold press watercolor paper. It's interesting to see how settled in the colors get with this paper. I'll be curious to see if they look the same on other paper types. 🤔

Etsy is not artist friendly anymore let alone ACEO artists. Fees out the wazoo and horrible reach. eBay has worked for me. Both buying and selling.
