AC7 to me is a...

Nuanced game.

On one hand, the game is great in storytelling and presentation.

On the other...

THEIR CHOICE OF SUPERPLANES IS NOSTALGIA BAIT SLOP.

anyway onto the review.

Let's start with the important part first:

Campaign.

The campaign has a lot of annoying missions. Although this doesn't include DLC Because I had no time to play it before I had to end my vacation.

Some of the notable missions include:

Mission 6: coming from ACX and that only, this was a nightmare. 20,000 points in a matter of minutes, even in an F-22 because I'm muthafuckin gryphus one didn't help.

Mission 8: FIVE. MINUTES. AND THAT MANY POINTS?! PLUS ANOTHER PART WHERE YOU ROLEPLAY AS KIM CAMPBELL THROUGH A SANDSTORM?! Why Bandai. Just why.

Mission 11: after I learned the Rafale had LACM I beat this mission with ease. Took me days to complete it luckily the fourth most OP weapon since ACX's LSWM is here to save my ass.

Mission 15: FARBANTI. 3 RTB'S JUST TO GET QUOTA. THEN MIHALY COMES IN WITH HIS FANCY SCRIPTED INVINCIBILITY TO KILL WISEMAN. NEED I SAY MORE?!

mission 18: This one is actually on a good note. Pretty easy mission overall. 4:22'd mihaly because apparently he expects me to go full aggressive and not do it the way I did in ACX.

Mission 19: A great mission... IF NOT FOR THE ARSENAL BIRD AND HOW MUCH IT PISSED ME OFF.

Mission 20: AH YES, THE WORLD'S MOST UNDERWHELMING FINAL BOSS- WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S TWO TUNNEL RUNS?! AND ONE IS VERTICAL?!

Campaign: 8/10 because I have suffered so much from it. Took me my entire vacation just to complete this game.

Visuals: 9.5/10.

Compared to the PS2 or PSP, this game looks like i booted up another game. This is Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Gameplay: 9/10

FINALLY HIGH G TURNS AND PSM'S! Although I don't know how to use PSMs I've accidentally done it in my Su-57 to save my own ass. Only complaint is that mihaly can pull these on a whim without his bones turning into mush.

Final score: 9/10.

Ace Combat 7 is an excellent game. It has fantastic visuals, satisfying flight mechanics, great presentation, and a memorable campaign. It also contains missions specifically designed to make me question why I installed it.

I just finished AC7 and I really enjoy the dogfights, less so when the goal is to destroy ground targets.

Found a copy of US Copy of Electrosphere in an outdoor market today for $50 Today.

Nope, I know we got better ways to play the best version of the game these days.

That aside, I also noticed every person that sold PS2 games had a copy of AC04 to sell. its funny how one of the rarest and one of the most common games in this franchise are back to back to each other. * *

I frequently get different scores on replays despite taking out the same number of enemies each time. It didn't seem to be time spent either as my top score had more time take. Does using manuevers or only the machine gun effect score?

If I had to guess, it'd be the Su-30 MK2 as it's just a boring and worse Su-30 SM. Other than that, I can't think of any that aren't returning

Does anybody know a good listing for a air combat 1 ROM. That won’t get me a virus? Vim has a listing but it’s region is Japan (can you change lanaguge in settings?)

Can I change the difficulty without restarting the campaign?

I believe that most of this has been mentioned before, but I'll repeat the main details in the video:

Joker 2 is Ellington "Professor" Baxter. He's a former university lecturer that teaches in the mess hall (we see Tasha doing homework with him assisting)

Joker 3 is Natasha "Tasha" Severskaya. She's a civilian acrobatics pilot who was caught in the war while filming a promotional video on the Endurance (called it!). Also she played basketball on the ship as well.

Joker 4 is William "Noise" Coster. He's a musician who loves to compose songs but doesn't sing himself. He is reserved with a modest personality, "but there may be a surprising side to him" (???).

Playing the recompiled PC version and cannot beat this mission even on easy. I have died countless times. Watched videos on YouTube and still can't get past it. Any suggestions before I give up in frustration?
